Private Trip

Day 1: Chongqing – Embarkation

Upon arrival at Chongqing Airport or Railway Station, a representative greets you and transfers you to the Yangzi Explorer. After settling into your balcony suite, join the safety briefing and the Captain's Welcome Reception at the Explorer Bar, with dinner at the Dynasty Restaurant and stunning night-time views of Chongqing as the ship sets sail.

Day 2: Fuling & Zhongxian – Caverns, Carvings & the Three Kingdoms

Start with Tai Chi and breakfast. In Fuling, choose Option A: descend into Project 816, the world's largest known man-made military cavern. Or Option B: ride to the White Crane Ridge Underwater Museum and explore the local market. In the evening, choose the Beacon of Three Kingdoms show or a serene stroll through Zhongzhou Old Alley.

Day 4: Yichang – Disembarkation & a Farewell Feast

Rise early for an exclusive dawn visit to the Huangling Temple. After disembarkation, choose the Three Gorges Dam Project (River Closure Park & Three Gorges Project Museum) or Quyuan Temple & the Hubei Three Gorges Resettlement Museum. Conclude with a farewell lunch of the renowned Yangtze River Catfish before transfers to the airport or station.

1. the average altitude in Yunnan is 1894 meters. Kunming: 1890 meters. Dali: 2050 meters. Lijiang: 2400 meters, Jade Dragon Mountain: 4506 meters. Shangri-La: 3280 meters. We strongly suggest our consumers thoroughly prepare for high-altitude reactions and intense ultraviolet rays. By preparing these, you can take high-altitude reaction medicines or bring some Oxygen Can before you depart.

2. If you suffer any diseases, please advise your doctor before you depart.

3. We don’t suggest our guests take showers in the first two days in a high-altitude area. If they get cold, it may easily lead to pulmonary edema and encephaloma.

4. Please don’t drink any alcohol, especially any strong liquids, since alcohol will lead to a high severe altitude reaction.
