Day 1: Arrival in Kunming – Green Lake Stroll

Your Yunnan journey begins upon your arrival in Kunming. Settle in and stretch your legs with a gentle stroll around Green Lake Park, where locals practice tai chi beneath ancient willows and the air hums with birdsong. Dinner can be a first taste of Yunnan’s seasonal cuisine — perhaps wild mushrooms or delicate rice noodles.

Day 2: Kunming to Luoping – Golden Sea of Flowers

Travel east to Luoping, where spring ignites the land in waves of rapeseed gold. Climb Jinji Peak for a sweeping view of terraced fields glowing in the sun, a photographer’s paradise. As day softens, head to Luositian, where the low light turns every blossom into molten honey.

Day 3: Luoping – Duoyi River & Nine Dragon Waterfalls

A day of nature’s brilliance. Drift along the Duoyi River on bamboo rafts, passing traditional Buyi houses mirrored in emerald waters. Continue to Nine Dragon Waterfall, a dramatic cascade system crashing through lush valleys. Later, explore lesser-known Xinyi rapeseed fields, where blossoms unfold far from the crowds.

Day 4: Xinyi to Milei – Vineyards & Hot Springs

Day 5: Milei to Kunming – Art & Flowers

In Kunming, dive into color at Dounan Flower Market, Asia’s largest, where roses, lilies, and orchids are traded by the millions daily.

1. the average altitude in Yunnan is 1894 meters. Kunming: 1890 meters. Dali: 2050 meters. Lijiang: 2400 meters, Jade Dragon Mountain: 4506 meters. Shangri-La: 3280 meters. By preparing these, you can take high-altitude reaction medicines or bring some Oxygen Can before you depart.

2. If you suffer any diseases, please advise your doctor before you depart.

3. We don’t suggest our guests take showers in the first two days in a high-altitude area. If they get cold, it may easily lead to pulmonary edema and encephaloma.
